In using experimental methodologies and collectivized artistic research, this lab fosters new dialogues on topics such as decolonial urban futures, alternative rurality, eco-aesthetics, and the post-natures

Our practice interweaves various forms of fieldwork: More-Than-Human spatial justice co-design, sensors and technology-based monitoring of urban landscapes and ecotones, citizen data production/redistribution in and beyond academia.

We understand the art + research + community + university equation as a unsteady continuum, a complex dispositive that must be addressed critically, using experimental tools and transdisciplinary caring strategies

Future Ecologies Lab promotes discussion and crosspollination, galvanizing the pedagogical potential of eco-aesthetic practices, speculative urban studies, environmental humanities, and More-Than-Human knowledge ecolgies
Our projects aim at impacting across scales, developing transformative investigations in territories, communities, and knowledge landscapes. By displacing human-nature dualities, our goal is to cultivate alternative forms of co-existence with the Earth.
